We've teamed up with PlayJam and our 6 week game jam starts today. Check out the assets and theme, get your thinking hats on, then go and fork the project and get started.
In preparation for your PLAYHACK game jam, why not run through our 6 part tutorial that takes you through building a complete game in PlayCanvas?
The six parts cover: Scene setup, Materials, Scripting, Audio and Particle effects and User Interface.
On Monday 1st of February we commence our biggest PLAYHACK yet. PLAYHACK with PlayJam is a 6 week game jam with thousands of pounds up for grabs for the best game developed using the theme and 3D assets that we provide.
And so we bid a fond farewell to 2015, our biggest year yet! In just 12 short months, we've taken the engine to new technical heights, published some incredible PlayCanvas-powered apps and helped some big-name companies make the jump from Flash to HTML5 and WebGL.
Today's new features are part of our on-going process of making your PlayCanvas experience easier and easier. And despite the title, we've released some awesome changes today.
